You Don't Need to Do Cold Calling
To Build Your Network Marketing Business

Cold calling is the worst way to build your network marketing business. To the network marketer, it's a great hit on self-esteem and sends a chill down the networker’s spine as they pick up the phone to attempt to sell something to a total stranger.


Why Cold Calling Doesn't Work?

First off, cold calling destroys your image
as a professional business person.

You need to project an image of power and confidence, and come to an appointment and be in control right from the start until the end. You need to have the power to direct the flow of the meeting until the desired outcome, which ultimately is a sale. And power comes from the value that you deliver to your prospects.

When you do cold calling, you are only bringing value to yourself. When you hand out name cards on the streets or calling strangers on the phone, you are telling your prospects, "I want to sell you my products". To your prospects, you are only bringing value to yourself in terms of earning a commission. You are not delivering any value to them.

Secondly, you are handing your power over to your prospect.

You are being positioned into a place of weakness. Because in any discussion, the person who is in need (you the cold caller in this case) does not have the power. The person who has power is the person who can fulfill a need (the cold called prospect in this case, because he can give you your commission).

If you want to build a huge and successful MLM network marketing business, the first thing you must do is to stop calling on strangers from the yellow pages and literally hang up your phone. The last thing your downlines want to duplicate is to talk to strangers on the phone like you!

Talking to strangers on the phone is probably the most desperate way to build your network marketing business because it places you at the bottom of the "food chain" where you are at the weakest and most vulnerable.

Drills and Holes

Most people who want to buy a drill do not want information about drills – they want information on how to make a hole. Therefore, if you truly wish to achieve success in network marketing, you must learn to give value to other people so that they will perceive you as a person in a position of expertise and not as an annoying salesperson.

By giving what your prospects want, you are now providing value and fulfilling your prospects' needs. You will be placed in a position of power.

If you position yourself as a valuable resource to your prospects, you will become the hunted instead of the hunter! In other words, people will look for you with credit card in hand waiting for you to sign them up. They will perceive you as an important person, unlike other annoying network marketers whom they don't even know.

Attracting Prospects with
InterNETwork Marketing

By using a combination of website, blogs, lead capture pages, autoresponders and E-mail marketing techniques, you will be able to attract prospects 24/7 into your marketing funnel.

At the end of the day, you have to be very clear that you have to use the right vehicle to help you to get results in network marketing. Motivation alone is not enough. Having all the motivation in the world without the right tools is like filling your car with Orange juice instead of petrol – you can be super motivated about driving to the beach but your car will not move.
