No Different
From Traditional Business



Hi, I'm Willy Lim.

The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing


To be honest, I was skeptical when read this apparently "negative" report. For one, my full-time career for the past 7 years was to tell everyone this MLM Network Marketing business model works! But each of the 7 lies confirms my belief that MLM Network Marketing is no different from a traditional business: both has to be Marketing-Centric to be successful.

The 7 Divisions of ANY Business

There are 7 basic divisions in any business:-

1) Human Resource
2) Finance
3) Logistics
4) Products
5) Marketing
6) Inventory
7) Production

The truth is a Network Marketing business also has all these 7 divisions, except that the job is split between 2 parties: the network marketing company outsources the Human Resource and Marketing divisions to YOU the independent contractor, while the company takes care of the 5 other divisions.

The 2 Divisions That Bring In the Money

You are therefore responsible for TRAINING People (what HR division does) and MARKETING to Target Market (what the Marketing division does). And these are the ONLY two divisions amongst others, that will bring revenue and profits to the company. All the other divisions are business costs and are there to support these two revenue generators.

Training "NETWORK" & "MARKETING" Products

Understanding this fact is important. It means you have to have 2 systems in place:

1) a TRAINING System
2) a MARKETING System


By marketing system, I'm not referring to the compensation plan...I'm referring to the method to bring in a continuous stream of prospects.

The Big Problem of MLM in Asia

In my 7 years of Network Marketing experience in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China, I observed that while SOME teams have a training system for people after they joined, NONE of them have an effective Sales and Marketing System in place to bring in an endless flow of qualified prospects!

That's like trying to walk with only 1 leg!

This is the main problem of MLM in Asia, and this is the main reason why Network Marketers disturb their friends and relatives (yes, I'm guilty of this) and when they run out of name list to disturb, they start to harass cold-call prospects in shopping malls, buses, MRTs and even on airplanes (and yes, I'm guilty of this too!)

About five years into my Network Marketing business, which was the darkest hours of my MLM career, I stumbled upon The Business Profits Equation that changed the way I look at my Network Marketing business forever....
