Power of Teamwork

Many distributors struggle when it comes to MLM network marketing prospecting.

The main reason why they have this fear of approaching their friends is because they are going against the norm of a 9-to-5 job mentality that is prevalent among their group of friends.

MLM Prospecting is Tough...
If You Do It Alone

Peer pressure is against you and the only way you can successfully influence your friends to join your network marketing business is by leveraging on the power of teamwork.

In MLM network marketing, there are various ways to leverage on teamwork.

First and foremost example of doing MLM network marketing prospecting together as a team, is with your spouse or your significant other.

The man is usually better at talking business, as most prospects perceive the man as the authoritative figure.

It's not that women are inferior, but they have more powerful ROLES in different areas such as relating to the prospect through products and services.

This sort of MLM network marketing prospecting couple teamwork is extremely effective because while the man show the plan in the living room, the women can go "oh-ah" at the dining table about their wrinkles disappearing after using a miracle cream.

Team Up with Your Upline

If you do not have a partner, you can always team up with your upline. Remember, there is power in numbers. If your upline and you have a common friend, this is the greatest leverage you have to influence the friend to sign up: "Everyone else is in, let's do this together!". This is especially so if your upline has credibility of success in network marketing and is someone who is well respected. You will have much higher chances of closing the prospect.

Interestingly, in the video below, the lions beat the crocodile and got the calf because of the power of numbers. And the bulls beat the lions and saved the calf, also because of the power of numbers!

The most important thing you must realise is that you do not do this business alone. MLM network marketing is a business whereby you are in business for yourself, BUT not by yourself. If you try to be a lone ranger in your MLM network marketing business and your downlines duplicate you, they will do things their own way, each becoming an indian chief, and you will have a big headache leading your group to success!

So rememeber: you are in business for yourself, NOT by yourself. You must learn to leverage on your uplines, downlines, sidelines and even the management of the company. When your prospects see you walk down the red carpet with the management and staff all waving at you, it really gives you a lot of "face" and credibility!And remember, there is strength in numbers...Leverage!
